Mouse

Mouse is my kid who wants to try it all. Baseball, basketball, gymnastics, karate, you name it. The problem is, he does it then gets bored with it. We may have found his THING: WRESTLING! When he said he wanted to do it I was a little hesitant. But of course we had to let him try. He has LOVED it!! He's first tournament he lost all 3 matches. So he kept working at it, practicing on his brothers and cousins. His last Tournament he won all matches. It was priceless to see his face and how proud he was. WAY TO GO MIKEY!!

Thanksgiving Point

The Day after Thanksgiving Creed & KC went to the big BYU vs. UTAH game. (Which by the way BYU won) Since my MIL was watching Brody & Koy we decided to head over to the ICEBURG for their $1.50 kids meals. Afterwards we went to see the Farm Animals at Thanksgiving Point. I felt like a little kid because all I wanted to do was WHINE about how cold it was. Needless to say we didn't stay long. Kathleen wanted J to ride the Horse but J didn't want any part of it. I am one of those mom's who doesn't really care if my Kid doesn't want to do it and is crying hysterically. I put him on anyway. He LOVED IT!! He rode it three times and was so sad he had to get off. It was a fun day but next time it is FREEZING I will take them to the store and they can ride the mechanical horse.

THANKSGIVING 2009

Thanksgiving this year was at our house with the Hansen side of the family. It started at 1:00 and was over at 11:00. Food, football, games, food: Good Times.

I was bummed after I realized I hadn't taken very many pictures that day. I guess I will be stealing other people's pictures. We played the game CURSES. If you like playing games this is a must have. I may have peed a little bit from laughing so hard.

I am so Thankful to have married into this family.

Boys

Me and My Boys

BABY J

J was hollering at me that he had brushed his teeth and had gotten Tooth paste every where. I told him to go clean it up and he says No mom you REALLY need to come here. Its EVERYWHERE. How right he was. All over the bathroom and himself. Apparently he had wanted to get his whole body tarter free.

Scapping

I know. I know. You have missed me. I haven't forgotten about you I have just been busy. OR lazy. Take your pick. Here is a recap of the Good Times that were had in the past couple of weeks, or 4.

SCRAPBOOK SLEEP OVER
Melinda, Trish, Melanie and I went to the Legacy Center for the Scrapbook Sleep Over.
Despite the Crappy Music they insisted on playing for 3 hours and the Lady Trish was going to punch it was good. I even discovered my new favorite treat: Popcorn and Candy corn. (Thanks Trish)

GOOD BOOKS......

Today I am grateful for GOOD BOOKS. You know the kind that no matter how much your house needs cleaning, your family needs to be fed, the kids need to get to school and you need to get to work but you just can't seem to put the dang thing down? I love those books. This is one of them. I read it for Book Club next month and LOVED IT!!
I guess I can get back to being a Mom again.  Until the next one.

Who isn't Thankful for a clean house? Especially a clean house that was provided by someone else! Creed had gotten up at 6:00 and had it done by the time I pulled my LAZY A out of the bed at 9:00. NOT only that but when I went to get something out of my car I about CRIED!! I could see the floor. It wasn't 3 Feet deep in Stuff. He had also shampooed it!!

Brothers

Today I am Thankful for.....
Brotherly Bonds

When KC was 6 months old I found out I was pregnant with Baby #2. At first I didn't know how I was going to handle 2 babies so close in age. Then I was thrilled. They would grow up and be the Best of Friends. I must have forgot how much me and my sisters fought all the time. We were NOT Best Friends growing up. We fought like Boys, fists and all. (OK it was usually my little sister using them on me) So I don't know why is surprises me that my Boys fight NON-Stop. But then little things happen like this......

This is Mike's first Wrestling Meet. KC went to give him words of encouragement. When I asked what he told him he said "I told him to pretend it was me and to beat the crap out of him." It made my HEART proud. I know they will continue to fight throughout their lives but I also know they will always have each others back.

Health

Today I am thankful for my HEALTH. Creed will laugh when he sees this because he says there is always something wrong with me. I have ASTHMA, ALLERGIES, most of the time I can't SMELL or TASTE and I get HEADACHES a lot. But those are so small compared to what others face. So I will Stop my whining because I don't have it bad.  (I can't say the same for my hubby though that has to put up with me sounding like Darth Vader, Tissues all over the house, Playing Mom and Dad when he gets home so I can lay down)  I have it good.
